Unfortunately the fabulous Alison Bolton has had to step away from her role as our deputy administrator due to other far more important commitments! So the Board is looking to see if we can recruit someone who wants to take on this role. Full training will be given, and if you are asked to take on the role in an emergency, or to answer the phone when Jo is away from Cockermouth, your time will be paid for. We would ask you to come along to monthly board meetings to stay abreast of what is going on - but this is purely on a voluntary basis. This is not really a role that will provide you with a regular income - but is really interesting and you can make a real difference to your community. If you are not already an existing volunteer with CERG, we would require you to sign up as one. Are you keen - then please send an email to admin@cerg.org.uk detailing why you want to help and how you can demonstrate:
IT skills,
a flexible approach when covering for my absence- if you have a full time job this might not work for example if you can't attend meetings during the week etc.
team working
ability to manage volunteers
and any other fabulous skills that you might have!
